Scientific Curator
Job summary

The role of a scientific curator involves reading, reviewing, and compiling data from scientific literature, clinical trials, and other related documents. Collect information relating to genes, diseases, drugs, mutations, protein interactions, pathways, phenotypes, and related scientific vocabulary, in addition information like biomarkers, drug labels, clinical guidelines, and molecular associations between gene variants and diseases to be captured. In scientific curation, it is crucial to consider evidence-based data. Improving data standards by mapping terminologies. It is important for curators to adhere to scientific protocols and guidelines and capture information in a structured manner.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, or Life Sciences.
  • The Internship role is open to freshers
  • A strong understanding of molecular biology concepts is required.
  • Experience in scientific curation is an asset.
  • Knowing major biological databases and ontologies is an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
